Nebula
My equipment (long focal length) and location (light pollution) have dictated the objects that I have been able to successfully image. As represented by the image on the left, almost all of my successful images have been small bright objects (planetary nebula or super nova remnants), Fortunately, I find these objects very interesting. I particularly enjoy attempting to extract the most detail from these small complex objects. Click on the image to the left to see the objects of this class that I have been able to image.
Galaxies
The long focal length of my equipment lends itself to imaging galaxies, however the light pollution at my location has been a sever handicap. As can be seen by the few examples of galaxies that I have imaged, the light pollution has prevented me from being able to collect adequate color information to compose a color image.
